About the event
Guests of Honor So Far:
- Ryan Boyd of Rank & Vile
- Jonathan Cohen of The Lavender Tavern
- Hannah & Stefen of Ghosts on a Train
Howdy! The network is launching, our first full scale audio drama is dropping, Valentine’s Day is comin’ up, and we’ve decided to have a big ol’ celebration. So I’m here to extend two invitations!
Firstly, I’m inviting queer podcast creators, creators that make podcast content including queer representation, or any/all cast & crews of podcasts that are a part of the queer community to be guests of honor at our Valentines Day party! We’d love to put your name(s) on the invitation and give your fans a chance to meet you and others like you. It should help broaden audiences across various podcasts, introduce you to others that are part of both queer and podcasting communities, and to celebrate all the work you’ve done! If you want to be listed as a guest of honor, please reach out at faustiannonsense@gmail.com as well as RSVPing here!
Second, I’m inviting absolutely everyone reading this to come celebrate with us, too! It will be a chance to meet and hang out with your fav creators, talk about your favorite content, and have a blast while you’re winning prizes and making friends!
There’s no fee to join the party, no matter if you’re going to be a listed guest of honor or a regular attendee. There’s nothing you have to create or bring along the way, either. We’re happy to foot the bill for prizes, games, and the “venue” (is it still a venue if it’s virtual? Either way, we plan to use Gather.town!). Just bring yourself and your friends!
About us:
FN was founded by myself and my best friend (Jaci), and we’re both bisexual women so queer representation, queer creators, and queer culture in media has always been important to us. It’s a huge part of the reason we picked up The Lavender Tavern (a queer fairytale anthology) as our first full scale client production. The queer community and the podcasting community seem to have huge amounts of overlap, and we want to celebrate that.
In addition, we’ll be dropping all of season 1 for Lavender Tavern on Valentines Day. 5.5 hours of queer fairytales, y’all. It’s gonna be good. And if that wasn’t enough cause for celebration, as of right this moment the freelance production service side of FN is open for business. It’s been a lot of hard work to launch a network, and we’re so excited to be a part of the community.
But ultimately, we just want to meet y’all, thank everyone for how amazing the podcasting community has been, and bring a little life to a Valentine's Day spent in quarantine. So come join us!
And come meet other partygoers/guests of honor in the meantime via our discord server.
